In May 2015, I graduated from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Virginia with an Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Previously, I obtained a Bachelor’s of Science through the College of Human Movement Sciences at Old Dominion University, where I majored in Sports Management. During PTA school, I spent many clinical hours in the skilled nursing setting and in an outpatient orthopedic setting much like Synergy. I became interested in the physical therapy field through my experience with sports and sports-related injuries. I find the physical therapy field to be very rewarding, and especially enjoy seeing and helping patients reach their end goal of feeling better. I grew up locally and graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in 2006. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, fishing (fresh and saltwater), golfing, and watching sports. I’m excited about the opportunity Synergy provides for learning, expanding my knowledge-base of physical therapy and gaining valuable experience.
