I graduated in 2014 from Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio with an Associate of Applied Sciences as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Prior to that I went to Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and graduated with B.A in Psychology in 2011.

I grew up in southeastern Ohio and I moved to Charlotte, NC immediately after graduating in 2014. There I worked for 3 years in a skilled nursing/ short-term rehab facility. I learned from my clinical rotations that outpatient orthopedics was where I truly wanted to work so I moved to a physician-owned practice. Our clinic focused on postoperative and post-motor vehicle accident (MVA) recovery. I was with Carolina Bone and Joint for 2.5 years.

I have known since I was 10 years old that I wanted to work in physical therapy. I had to have extensive therapy myself following a complex tib/fib fracture of my left leg. I have experienced firsthand how challenging rehab can be but I also know how much of a difference it can make in your life.

I relocated to Harrisonburg with my husband in April 2019. He accepted an offer with the City of Harrisonburg as the new Director of Communications. We knew we loved the mountains and the Shenandoah Valley was the perfect place to call home.
