Vibration Plate Therapy

Vibration Plate Therapy

What is vibration therapy?

At Synergy Rehab & Wellness, we offer whole-body vibration therapy. Dr. John Harvey Kellogg first implemented vibration therapy in practice in 1895. Today, athletes, gyms, and clinics throughout the country have utilized vibration therapy to treat and alleviate the symptoms of many common health issues.

Vibration therapy involves sitting, standing, or lying on a machine supported by a vibrating platform. The platform vibrates dozens of times per second, which causes muscles throughout the body to contract quickly. This rapid contraction and relaxation of muscles works as a pump on both the circulatory and lymphatic systems, increasing the speed of blood flow and lymphatic drainage throughout the body.

How does vibration therapy work?

In Whole Body Vibration Therapy, as the platform generates vibrations, they are transmitted to your body. This whole body vibration increases strength, stability and range of motion faster than many other treatment options. Each Vibration Therapy session may be adjusted to suit your specific needs.

Research Has Shown This New Innovative Treatment Approach to Be Effective For:

  • Muscle strengthening
