PTA

In May 2014, I graduated from Butler County Community College with my Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. During school clinical rotations I have spent many hours in nursing home, hospital, and sports medicine outpatient Physical Therapy settings. Physical Therapy has always been an interest of mine since having gone through it myself for a sports injury. It has benefited my life, and I plan to help do the same for others.

I have been working at Synergy for about 4.5 years now. Synergy is the first place I started working since graduating PTA school at Butler County Community College in 2014. I moved from Pennsylvania soon after graduating with my husband and then 2 year old daughter. Since moving to Staunton, we have recently bought our home and made an addition to the family with my son (going on 2 years old).

Synergy has been like my home away from home, and I do what I love every day I work. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, it is my goal to motivate, respect, teach, and listen to every patient in my care while applying the knowledge and skills I have obtained thus far. Since starting at Synergy, I have been trained in areas of TMJ, Vestibular Rehab, Graston Technique, Muscle Energy, Trigger point, and many manual techniques that allow me to treat a variety of patients. I plan on making a lifelong commitment to learning new things in order to better the lives of those God places in my care.

The love that comes from the staff and the foundation of God it was built on makes Synergy so amazing to be a part of. I love treating everyone who God blesses me with to treat. So many have been a blessing to my life, and I can only hope and pray to be a blessing to others through therapy.
