Sharon recently joined the Synergy family after relocating from Michigan. She has over 30 years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist (OT), and completed her OT degree at Eastern Michigan University. Early in her career, Sharon identified her passion for treatment of the upper extremity, and in 1991 she became a board certified Hand Therapist.
For the past 25 years, Sharon worked as a clinical specialist in OT for Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph, Michigan For the past 11 years she served as the Chief of Occupational Therapy for Spectrum Health Lakeland system. She is excited to now be working at Synergy Wellness and Rehab in Waynesboro where she is working to grow the hand therapy program.
Sharon resides in Afton Virginia in the beautiful Rockfish Valley with her Partner. When not working she enjoys hiking, yoga and reading.
